The only way for us to give an accurate price quote is for us to personally discuss your event. After we have an understanding of what you desire, we can give you a quote immediately.
What is intelligent lighting? -top-
Intelligent Lighting is a form of programmable lighting. Lights are synchronized with the beat of the music and project impressive shapes and patterns in vibrant and bright colors. These lights are state of the art, professional grade units operated by a technical assistant dj. Intelligent lights serve a variety of purposes from spotlighting an important person as they enter the room, exciting the room during a dance, or contributing the romance of a slow song. Intelligent Lights are not necessary for a successful party, but they add to the mood of a room and bring an impressive finish to an already spectacular performance.
What options are available for requesting songs before and during an event? -top-
dj Dan offers 2 options for requesting songs. We encourage our clients to provide us with a list of songs prior to their event. This will help us better accommodate your tastes and get a better feel for the music you enjoy.
Additionally, we offer a live request guarantee service. If your event is held in a facility that can supply an Internet connection, we are happy to purchase an agreed upon number of songs from either the iTunes or Urge music stores. We always accept requests during an event, if the song is in our library, we will be happy to play it for you.

How far will a dj travel for an event? -top-
dj Dan primarily focuses its business in central New Jersey, but due to the nature of our business we often perform throughout the entire state.
What kinds of packages does dj Dan offer? -top-
dj Dan offers packages ranging from a basic sound system for background music to concert sized sound systems with intelligent lighting, fog, haze, and spotlights. Additionally, dj Dan can provide a simple setup with a dj, or with a team featuring a dj and MC to keep your event moving.
Is a deposit required before the event? -top-
Payment and deposits are handled on a per event / customer basis. dj Dan will discuss payment options with you as you book an event. Most events require deposits to secure your date.
